About The Cords

An indie pop duo from Scotland, the Cords specialize in short, hooky, jangly tunes in the tradition of Sarah Records and C-86. Mixing a raw, disaffected sensibility with sweet vocals and a knack for pristine melodies, they were still teenagers when they released their full-length debut, titled simply The Cords, in 2025.
