In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember writing Billy Joel and asking him for help becoming a professional piano player. He played in a theater and I played in a bar next to it. We still haven’t met but would still love his advice. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arthur Rubinstein, Chopin: Nocturnes Hans Zimmer, Gladiator (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture JK Hodge, Winter's Gift I felt when I released Winter’s Gift I was playing the piano very well… love the season. Gladiator soundtrack was/is my favorite soundtrack as I would like to put my music in film. Arthur Rubinstein’s piano impressions of Chopin can’t be duplicated. Tell us why you chose this song. “Holding Daylight” “Holding Daylight” is about having hope when it appears hope cannot be grasped. It’s just a simple melody that flowed and didn’t take too long to write. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played for a person that had been in the news for a time. It was honor to meet him in an undisclosed location in NYC. There were many other prestigious men and women in attendance. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to put my music in film. I feel my music carries enough emotion to be placed in an important scene in a movie. I have already scored several silent films…
